"RAD-76" Wasteland Receiver - Game Ready

Here is my latest personal project: a rugged, post-apocalyptic radio designed as a first-person Hero Prop for a AAA game environment. My primary goal was to seamlessly blend the scavenged, heavily weathered aesthetic of the wasteland (heavily inspired by the Fallout universe) with intricate, mechanical Dieselpunk and Steampunk elements.

I wanted to challenge my hard-surface modeling and material definition skills. The design features a complex mix of contrasting materials: heavily oxidized steel, worn bakelite dials, splintered salvaged wood, polished copper plumbing, and fragile glass.

Modeled with a generous budget suitable for a Hero Prop (close-up inspection/player interaction), dedicating geometry to curved surfaces like dials and tubes
